By placing an order with The Coveted Cookie, you acknowledge and agree to all of the below terms and conditions.

Payment Policy

Orders under $250 are required to be paid-in-full to be placed on our calendar, or a 50% non-refundable retainer for orders over $250. This must be paid within 48 hours of receiving the invoice or your spot may be forfeited.
You'll receive an email invoice with details on paying via Venmo, PayPal, and CashApp. Payment Can also be made with a credit or debit card over the phone.
Final 50% payments for orders over $250 is due 14 days prior to the event. This is the final opportunity to make changes to your order. If you fail to make payment by this date, your order may be cancelled and your retainer will be forfeited.
Small Orders (2 dozen or fewer) placed less than 1 weeks before event date will require a 20% rush fee and Large orders (greater than 3 dozen) placed less than 2 weeks before event date will also incur a 20% rush fee.
I do not offer discounts on large orders.

First Come, First Payment, First Served

Cancellation Policy

Orders must be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order to receive a full-refund.
Orders must be cancelled no less than 7 days prior to the event to receive a refund of 50% of the order as store credit toward a future purchase.
Orders must be cancelled 14 or more days prior to the event to receive a 50% refund back to the original payment method.
Should an emergency occur on the part of The Coveted Cookie in which your order cannot be completed, you will be refunded in full any payment or retainer made. The Coveted Cookie will notify you as soon as possible should this occur.

Design Policy

Any changes to the order must be made in writing and requested no less than 7 days in advance of the event date. Changes requested after this point are not guaranteed.
While we love to see inspiration photos to understand your design concept, we cannot replicate cookies done by another cookie artist. This is plagiarism and just not nice! We can however, utilize pictures as inspiration and will provide you with alternative designs.
Copyright also prevents us from duplicating logos unless we receive written permission from the company who owns the logo.

Pick-up/Delivery Policy

Once your order is paid and finalized, you will be provided with an address for pick-up.
If you need to have your cookies delivered, there will be $1.50/mile fee added to your total.
Due to cottage laws in CA, we are unable to ship orders outside San Diego County.

Refund Policy

If you are unsatisfied with your order, your cookies must be returned within 24 hours and 80% intact.
Refunds are given on a CASE BY CASE basis. 50% of your order total is non-refundable. The remaining 50% will be considered at my discretion and are given as store credit toward a future purchase. No cash refunds are given.

Allergy Warning

While The Coveted Cookie follows all applicable guidelines for avoiding cross-contamination in the kitchen, we cannot ensure that your order will not come into contact with common kitchen allergens which may include but are not limited to: eggs, nuts, soy, peanuts, milk, wheat, fish, and/or shellfish.
Please notify The Coveted Cookie of all allergies before submitting payment for your order so that we may discuss whether or not your allergy needs can be accommodated. You are responsible for notifying all consumers of your order (all people at a party, for example) the potential for all products to contain common allergens. The Coveted Cookie is not liable for any allergic reactions that may occur. As a home bakery, The Coveted Cookie's products and kitchen are not inspected by the CA Department of Health or the local health department.

Limitation of Liability
The Client acknowledges and agrees that The Coveted Cookie will not be liable for any losses or damages, whether indirect, incidental, special or consequential, in profits, goods or services, irrespective of whether or not the Client has been advised or otherwise might have anticipated the possibility of such loss or damage.

No Guarantee
The client acknowledges and agrees that The Coveted Cookie cannot guarantee the results of any of the services to be rendered. Best efforts will be used but no results are promised.
